7 Month Pictures

Yes, she is now on the move. Tough to keep her in one place for very long.

 Remember where this all started...

Ainsley's First Artwork

Ainsley is officially a poor but not-so-much starving artist. She completed her first work of art at day care this week. If she were being graded it would obviously be an A plus!

Charleston 2013

The Nemitz Family just got back to Savannah from a quick two day trip to Charleston, SC. It was our first overnight trip with Ainsely. With Ainsley's upcoming travel schedule to Southbend in October and Nashville in December we wanted to get a dry-run under our belts.

Things went pretty well (Although the 2 hour ride home did get a little long for a tired little girl. And I am not talking about Jared). We stayed at the the Renaissance Hotel Downtown. It was perfect location to walk where we wanted to go. Sunday was spent strolling the streets of downtown and doing a little shopping on King Street. We then had dinner with good friends Emily and Brooks Riddle at their home.

Monday was spent at the South Carolina Aquarium. By the time we got there Ainsley had fallen asleep so Rachael and I scouted the place out until our little princess woke up. Pictures are below.
Enjoying some hot wings, boiled peanuts and fries before we get to the hotel.
Ridin' in style in the car.

Ainsley was so excited to go to the aquarium she tuckered herself out right as we got there.
Her parents made sure she still got her visitor's map and ticket.
Ainsley and the turtles became quick friends right off the bat.
The family and sting rays.
Watching the fishies with a pelican eating them in the background.
Dad was afraid to touch the python so Ainsley showed dad how to do it.
Up and close view inside the lemming cages.
Relaxing, watching the 2-story fish tank.
Fishes bigger than her.
Reward after a long day of looking at wildlife...let's eat some!

Ainsley 5 Month Old Pictures

Ainsley had her 5 month birthday the other day. It is becoming more and more difficult to get her to stay still or for that matter in one place for any length of time. I guess this all part of her growing up. Pictures are not the best because she just would not sit still. Don't worry you fellow iron fisters...I did lay down the law with her.

Ainsley Tastes Food for the First Time

Today, is the first step for Ainsley on her way to college. She tasted real food for the first time today. It was a treat. We felt it was time to try because she kept showing interest in our food, acting hungry all the time and grabbing/staring at our food.

It went a little slow at first as we were trying to feed her. She let us know very quickly that she did not like it being "forced" on her. But when we stopped and let her grab at the food and do it on her terms she enjoyed it.

Jared Assists at The Wyndham Championship

Jared spent the week volunteering at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, NC. He was in charge of moisture management on the front 9 greens. It was a good opportunity to experience another PGA event and network within the turfgrass industry.
